What happens when you come back after 5 months...*cough*

Well, hello there.

Just so you know, I really was going to start blogging again.  But the Dude's laptop would give up the ghost the very month I set up a nice little blog page.  *long Napolean breath*  And since he runs an online ministry, he kind of has to be on the computer.  All day.  Every day.  So much for 2009, I suppose!  But 2010 and I have gotten rather chummy, and I'm looking forward to posting regularly.  Never let it be said that I'm not a chatty person!  But you'll find that out for yourself when you stop by for tea later.  (Milk?  Sugar?  Both?)

Here's a brief list of post categories you can look forward to, not necessarily in this order:

  1. Homeschooling - I'm finding my style, and I must say it's invigorating to figure this all out bit by bit!
  2. Food & Fitness - because let's face it.  I was a mostly-whole-foods advocate long before Her Fabulousness began her now world-famous Challenge.
  3. Book Reviews - yes, me!  Reading again!  3 years ago, I still didn't believe this would be possible before age 50.  *happy sob*
  4. What Happened in October/November/December... - a recap of some of our most (in)famous moments during the last few months.  Oh, yes.

In closing, I wanted to share this terrifically simple post which was timely for me today:  "7 Tips for Fighting Blogger Burnout" from Mandi Ehman at Organizing Your Way.  (Thanks again!)

  4. I just came over from Sarah's blog and it appears that we have quite a few things in common. :)

I like food. Real food (not fake food).

I like fitness (especially running...or, I should say - especially the way I feel AFTER running). ;)

    I plan to homeschool.

    Nice to meet you!
